The Overcomers Program is. an outreach ministry of Calvary Christian Center. It is dedicated to helping individuals who are ready to transform their lives.Our program is specifically designed to support those facing challenges such as chemical dependency, compulsive behaviors (e.g., drinking, smoking), or other forms of addiction.Our compassionate and committed staff work tirelessly to bring about real and lasting change in the lives of those we serve. We believe that every person struggling with addiction deserves access to effective therapy and support.Addiction is not just a personal struggle; it is a community issue that affects us all. At Overcomers, we aim to address this challenge together, offering hope, healing, and a path to recovery for individuals and their communities.
Over the past 30 years, The Overcomers Program has achieved remarkable outcomes:
1. Successfully reintegrated over 300 graduates into society as valuable contributors, maintaining a low recidivism rate.
2. Reunited more than 200 families previously torn apart by abusive and destructive behaviors.
3. Supported nearly 75% of our graduates in securing employment or starting their own businesses.
We believe that an in-house Residential Recovery Facility, which closely simulates a "home-living" environment and family atmosphere, promotes the same and fosters a sound nurturing atmosphere which in turn accelerates healing, recovery, and assists in the overall restoration process.The hallmark of such an in-house program should be accountability and interdependence.
What We Do Exactly
The 1 - 2 year program includes 40 hours per week of classroom instruction including:> Anger Management
> Group Therapy
> Life Skills
> Leadership Training
> Relapse Prevention
> Self-Esteem Development
> Work Therapy
How to Apply for The Overcomers Program
There is an orientation and assessment interview prior to consideration for entering the program.
A full application, income verification and negative results of a TB tests are required in order to
participate.Once accepted into the program, the initial enrollment process begins and the participant is evaluated for two weeks at the residential facility.Cost: There is a one-time non-refundable administration processing fee of $170.
